Hello again

Well well well look who finally decides to show up.  I am so sorry I have not been on here in forever!

Well these past few months a lot has changed.

Ian is about to start school as a first grader!  Ya that is right he passed kinder without a fuss.  Now its time for grade school..  And he is so excited!  He was really upset leaving his old kinder teacher but was happy to get a new one.  It also calmed him to know that he might have some of the same friends in his class this year to.  Its crazy but he loves the homework and the waking up early, picking out his clothes and snack time after he gets home lol.  He is just an amazing little guy.  Or should I say First Grader!
He is really excited because his little brother Logan can run around and play guns, and hide and seek.  They love playing army men together to.. And lately just running around and tossing them self's on the floor.  Ian is also getting an attitude with us sometimes, which I know is normal for his age, but let me tell you it sucks as the parent.  But he is becoming his own person.

Logan is just a crazy little man.  He is running and climbing everything he can.  He still wakes up some nights for a bottle of milk but is slowly weening himself off of it.  He uses sippy cups during the day, and at nap time, but I think its a comfort for him still.  He is speaking in little sentences and it amazes us how clearly they are.  He has 6 teeth now and eats everything we put in front of him.  We got him in the routine of eating dinner with us at the table, and cereal in the morning.  He loves to dance to any kind of music.  Although his favorite Movie is "Pitch Perfect."  He can hear that movie from a mile away and come running.  He loces to give us kisses and hugs and is just a crazy little man!

Jesse is doing really good with work and even expanded and started his own.

As for me...
About 3 weeks ago I graduate from the Milan institute of Cosmetology to become a Nail Technician.  I took a course that lasted 6 months.  And it was the best 6 months of school I have ever had.  I ended up making a lot of new friends!  And imagine this...They are all girls...  Never really had this before... Anyways, I am now awaiting my appointment to take my state bored tests to get my licence.  So I hopefully could be working by the end of the year.  I also would like to have my own Salon up in Washington state.  We plan to move back there in the near future.  Now I am getting back into blogging and I have joined a bunch of  other social media places.  This is mainly to show off my work and to build a clientele.

Well I will leave you all with this and will post really soon...

My INSANITY workout journey Day 2

So today I was a little dissapointed in myself because I wanted to push.  I know this program is not going to be a walk in the park.  Why else would it be called INSANITY!  Right!

Well I had to stop several times during the WARM UP....THE FREAKING WARM UP!
Today really showed my just how out of shape I really am.  If I was in any kind of good shape the warm up would be do able.

I sometimes have to really take deep breaths because my throat gets this pain in the right side.  Like I ran a mile or something.  I have to drink a super lot of water.  Which I know is good, but I do not want to make myself sick.  So far so good.

I am sweating my butt off and I love it. I felt muscles I never used before when I woke up, and sat up to get out of bed.  TO me that tells me that I am doing something right....Right?

I am going to be doing short videos after every workout to let you all know my honest opinion on the program.  And so far I am giving it an A+.

My INSANITY workout Journey Day 1

So I was doing some research and I came across the INSANITY workout.  I also saw it on TV.
Well I looked into it and it seems that this is an AWESOME workout.  So I ordered it.

I am starting today with my fit test.  This is a very intense 60 routine.

My measurements are

Weight- 121
Waist- 36 1/2
Thigh- 22
Arms- 12

I just got done doing the first fit test. And my legs feel like noodles, and my arms are shaky.  I have to say this is definitively going to me INSANE.

I am dedicated and going to push myself to my limit.  I want to get the best results I know I can get.  I have a great support system here at home, and my boys push me to do my best.

Here are my results for the first Fit Test

  1. Switch Kicks-96
  2. Power Jacks-20
  3. Power Knees-61
  4. Power Jumps-12
  5. Globe Jumps-4

Changes are comin

Sorry for it being so long in between posts.  There has been a lot of things going on right now so I haven't had any time to post new blogs.  But now I am sitting on our couch while my hubby plays his xbox and Logan is sleeping and Ian to.  The day has been so long because I was cleaning like crazy so when my Grandma and Grandpa get here tomorrow morning for seeing Ian the first time for 2 years!  I hope that they have a wonderful time here.

We have been doing great with each other and the boys have been smiling and playing with each other.  This is the best thing that brothers can do.  It puts a smile on my face to when they do it.  Its so cute.  Ian cannot wait for Logan to be big enough to play with him, besides laying on his back and kicking his face with his little wii feet.  I wish I caught a picture of it but when I opened my phone Logan was ready to eat again.  But please me happy at all the other pictures I have of these boys.  I can tell you all that having nothing but boys is the most AMAZING thing I have in my life.

I know that Jesse and I do not have a lot of time alone, except when the boys are asleep at the same time...  But please know that we are doing really great.  We love all the time we have with our little family and wouldn't change things at all.  We go fishing and shopping all the time together.  Also a lot of rides down he mountain to town to just walk around and window shop.  This is what we really love to do when we get bored of sitting at home.

I have been trying to get Logan's 3 month update up, but I have been so stressed and so busy I am still working on it.  I really have not had time to post on here as well.  But I am trying to make time is saving small posts here and there about what is going on in our lives.

So we have purchased a Brand new 73" lcd tv.  Also an entertainment center for it.  It is really nice to be able to start to furnish our house with new furniture.  In addition to our Tv we have gotten a couch.  This is not new but it is in very good condition.

We finally got Ian in his own room.  And it is working out greatly for him and us as well.  We loved sharing a room with him but he is 5 and with having the baby in there as well it was a little crowded.  Also daddy and I needed some privacy.  Ian is at the age that he needs to be independent and learn that as well.  He has his own tv and entertainment center for it and his games.  We put his toys in there as well so now he is all set.

We still need to paint the house and replace the carpet but for now it is more homey than it has been.

I am currently working on my crochet projects.  I am making earrings and purses.  I am trying to get enough together to go to a craft fair.  This is my goal...

Jesse is enjoying the tv and the game play he is getting on it.  We are definitively enjoying family movie night and watching our shows on it as well.

The weather here has been so nice, but I have not once gotten down to the lake to swim.  We have been going fishing a lot and I have not had the time to go.  I am trying to plan something really soon.

Well I hope that things keep looking up for us!

Logan is getting so big!

Logan has been looking at his toys on his bouncer the past few days.  When he was born he didn't really fit in it right so it was annoying to put him in it.  Now he fits it really good.  He reaches kinda for the toys on it.

I feel like the time is flying by.  I still feel like he was born this morning.  I know the first year fly's by!

Seeing Logan reminds Jesse and I about Ian when he was a baby.  It is way AMAZING to see his little brother growing up just like him.

Logan's First Day Of Life!

He was so tiny, but such a bundle of joy.

A day in our life

So on Sunday June 10th my hubby and I spent the whole day shopping.  Well we were looking at new carpet and paint.  We found the right carpet we want, and the colors we would like to do.

The carpet is similar to what we have know, and the paint is white for the main part of the house, and tan in our room , and Ian's room will be light blue.

We are in the process of Decorating our home.  We are at the point where we want to make things look the way we want them instead of just dealing with what we get.  I know that we are only renting in this house but  we do not plan on moving anytime soon.  So we want to make it more homey....

Here is a list of everything we have gotten so far
Knifes
Cutting board
Silverware
Kitchen Tools
Pots
Pans
Cookie sheet
Cake pan

So you can see we are starting in the Kitchen.

We found this 60 inch plasma tv for the living room.  We are not going to get it for a few weeks, because we need to save up.

Things for us right now are going really well.

The thing I would like right know is a new Camera.

Labor & Delivery with our Second son

So I am sitting in front of my bedroom window and it is poor-ring rain.  The lake weather has not been as good as it was last year.  We have only been able to go outside and play for 2 days now this past moth.  Now on the weather channel it says its suppose to snow tomorrow?  Where is SUMMER?

Logan was born on April 18, 2012.  As some of you already knew.  This labor was the most amazing things ever.  I was really excited and new that I was in REALLY labor on April 17th.  The pain was not going away and just kept getting worse.  I was having contractions all day about a 5 min apart.  All day I was at my Hubby's office in town so that I could go see me doctor.  It was just a check up but turned out to be in labor.  They told me I was 4cm and 80% effaced, but told me to go back home until my water broke or the contractions got to hard to handle.  By the time I left the Doctor I knew it was time to go over to the Labor and Delivery.  When I got there they checked me and I was 4 1/2 or 5 cm, and so they made me walk for 45 min.  This was the most amazing thing ever.  I knew I was going to have our baby boy that night and was so happy.  If I had stopped walking it made the contractions hurt more, but while walking it made them feel a little better.  I was holding my belly the whole time.  I was so afraid that my water would break before my Hubby could get there.
Once they put me back in the bed the pain got really bad!  And my hubby was there with me now.  He was holding my hand and kept telling me I was doing good, and he kept reminding me to breath....
He was my rock!

They checked me and now I was a 6cm so I was told I was in LABOR!

So everything started to go by real fast now.  I was only 36 weeks 4 days, so all the fear was there.  The excitement for having another little one was there.

My contractions were lasting up to 2 min, and every min apart.  So they decided I could have my epidural.  Once I got it I felt a lot better.  Although my left side did not go numb.  I had to have another shot in it.  Once it was all numb, I was relaxed and resting.  My husband was going to get something to eat because we were told it would be a while before I could push.  He was gone 5 in when they checked me, because all of a sudden I got really nauseated.  When she moved my legs over, she said, Don't sneeze.   He's right there.

So I called my husband who's phone had no signal! Great!!!

My Doctor Amanda, came in and said she would grab him.  She had just passed him.  So by the time he got into the room I was getting ready for a practice push.  So count that as push #1.  I pushed a second time.  Then before the 3rd push he was asked if he would like to touch his head.  Before he could put his glove on all the way Logan was born at 12:14 am.  He was put on my chest, and was SCREAMING.  That was music to both of our ears.  Daddy got to cut his cord!!! YAY...

Logan Russel Zimmerman was 5.9 pounds, and 17 1/2 inches long
Full head of light blonde hair.

We were so Happy!

36 weeks pregnant contractions..

I've been having painful contractions for about 4 days now. Sometimes 2-3 min apart, and no cervical change...  This is really frustrating because they hurt to where they take my breath away, but they won't keep me, or induce me yet.

I'm really getting mad because I was so high risk for so long and now they say they won't stop it, but they won't give me anything for the pain...

What should I do?

Snow in April

Playing outside in April.

Where the weather should be so nice, and getting warmer, but.....

This whole month its been snowing...

Its warm one day and then the next its windy and just plain nasty out...It just doesn't want to make up its mind...

Yesterday and today I did take Ian out.  Although yesterday was pretty warm, today was windy and ucky.....
So I think we are stuck in the house again with another snow storm on its way.  I am so ready for Winter to be gone, and at least have Spring here.  Summer would even be great.  Its feels like it is taking forever....

Review on Women's Prenatal

So I have been taking the Women's Prenatal One a Day, through out my Pregnancy.
I wanted to just let you all know what I think about the product.  These are my own personal thoughts.

Likes

  1. A great source of Iron
  2. You get both a Multivitamin and a DHA/EPA liquid Gel

Dislikes

  1. The pills are huge!
  2. The Multivitamin leaves a nasty after taste if you let it sit on your tongue for to long.

Other then that I think they are great.  You get both of them in one package and it makes it more convienient. Also The amount of Iron is outstanding.  I have had low Iron in both my pregnancies and I love that this has triple the amount I had to take with my first son.

I would Recommend this product to any women Expecting!

Ian's Easter Egg Hunt #5 At home

So here is Ians Easter Egg Hunt #5 at home.  Sorry for all the noise, and the messy house.  There is a lot I can talk about it, but I am going to leave it alone right now..lol
