New Years Resolutions for 2012

Well it is new years eve!  Can you believe that another year is almost over...WOW...

This whole year I was blessed.  Getting a new wedding rings from the hubby on Christmas, found out I was prego again in August, our first son turned 5 on December 30th, and we got our own house, and our own truck, finished High School.

WOW

That is a lot.

I know that everything happens for a reason so I am way sure that all the negative things happened so that all the AWESOME things could happen to.  I know there is a lot of people that I will not talk to anymore after tonight.

I am going to clean like crazy for our life so that this new 2012 year has nothing but AMAZING things.  Fingers Crossed.

For the past 10 years there has been a lot of drama, and I am totally over it.  I want nothing to do with them anymore.  They know who they are.  I love everyone else that has made my family, and life happy.....

Crocheting for a group on Youtube.  This is going to be way good.  My first video for it will be up on Monday, the first for me in 2012.  YES.  Also going to give away a lot of what I make to people who cannot afford things for them self's or their families.  Also Hospitals.  I feel like helping everyone I can.

Also going to start taking Ian to Church!  Thinking about it because daddy and I are two different.  I am a Christian, and he is a Catholic.  We do not want to make Ian choose yet.  So we will take him to both.  That way he can decide on his own.

Well I hope you all have a WONDERFUL new YEARS.

I love it and I think I am going to make this in a bunch of different colors.

Crochet Sweater for Newborn

So as promised here is a few photos of the sweater I have been working on since last night.  I still need to add buttons but this is the completed look.

I have really been getting into small projects that do not take as much time.  I want to make as much as I can. I figure it means more and it is cheaper.  Plus I can pick and choose all the colors or patterns on them.

If you have any patterns that fit my criteria please comment with the link below.

Nursery ideas

Well the Nursery is actually going to be in our room for the time being. My in laws are staying and our sons room, and nursery are taken.

But its not such a bad thing.  We are a close bunch so we get along great.

So one of my ideas is to make my own Wonder bumpers.  I have watched a lot of different movies on Youtube about doing it yourself, and I love it.  And I would get to choose a fabric that I love and  go from there.  I know that there have been some studies that Wonder bumpers are more safe than a regular bumber set.  What I have herd is it takes away from air flow, possibly causing SIDS in some cases.  We didn't know this with our son and had a regular bumper set.  He did fine but I am paying attention to all the talk.

I want to get wood letters in the name of our baby, once we have decided.  I want to paint them or decorate them in whatever way I want, and hand them about where the crib or basinet will be.  We have not decided on getting just a crib or basinet.  We are going to get a sleep position-er for ether one though

I have seen people sewing there own burp clothes and wash clothes and I think that is a really good idea.  I myself have started to crochet some wash clothes with scraps, since it doesn't take a lot.

I am trying to figure out how I can decorate for the baby when it is in our room.  This seems to be the one thing that is bothering me.  I have a vision on how I want to set everything up but I cannot do it that way in our room.  Plus I do not have a clue when the in laws are moving out, so we are stuck with what space we have.  We will have to make do.  I know we will figure out how we want everything.

"A place for everything, everything in it's place."

Give me some ideas on how I can turn our own room into a nice temporary nursery.  It would really help!

18 weeks with Baby #2

So I am now officially 18 weeks.  This little Pnut has been kicking and rolling none stop for about 2 weeks now. Though I have tried having my Husband feel and the little one is stubborn and stops moving.  No matter how long he leaves his hand there.  Go figure right.  If it wasn't for my belly I think he would think I was NUTS lol.

Anywho here are a few photos of me today..Mind you I do not feel like dressing up or doing my hair or makeup.

Like I said its nothing special but hey its a pic mainly for the belly not the face lol....

Now I think this one is cute.  My belly is getting bigger and it seems like its getting bigger faster now.

And there ya go.  I will do a complete update later but lunch is calling my name!

Were to buy Baby items online for cheap?

I am trying to start buying our second babies things.  And we live on a mountain so it would be cheaper to get it online. I have found some sites, but I know there are plenty out there that I can get a good deal on.

If you have any sites in which you've bought things or know of cheaper sites, please comment bellow!  The help is greatly appreciated!

17 weeks Pregnant & an update of our life

Okay so I am 17 weeks and 1 day now.  So something AMAZING!!! I have been feeling the little one move all over my belly for about a week now.  I started to feel the baby with my hand on my lower belly, but my Hubby cannot feel it. It is like the baby is going to sleep as soon as daddy puts his hands on mommy's belly.  Which its just like a good thing.  Daddy always seems to put the babies asleep if they cant fall asleep on their own.

I remember when Ian was a baby sometimes I couldn't get him to sleep, and he didn't want to fall asleep, so daddy held him, and sang to him.  Then he would sleep for hours!  Daddy always makes me more than comfortable to sleep all the time to.  We love Daddy so much!

So there is only 11 more days till we find out for sure this baby is our new boy.  So excited!

I know I have not taken a pic of my belly because it doesn't really look like I am prego. It just looks like I have a little fat on my lower tummy.  Soon I will do it though.  Everyone thinks I look way small for being  5 1/2 months.  Oh well...

Well just a little update for ya'll.....

Lazy day

So this is kind of sad and emotional on my part.

My hubby has been home for the past 3 days from work, and has to go back on Monday.  Makes me real sad.  I love getting to spend all the time with him.  I have really liked being able to sleep-in in the mornings.  Our 5 year old Ian, has been staying up till 9 instead of 8.  So he sleeps in with us lol.

Tonight I have been just relaxing on the couch.  While I was surfing the net I felt out little one wiggle in my belly. The baby only moves around for a short period of time, and I can never feel it on my belly yet.  I tell my hubby and he gets excited but then bummed when he cant feel it.  Though I know soon enough it will be non stop for the both of us. :)

Today I felt the craving for Pineapple Pizza.  My hubby had me go order some! YUM YUM.  That is really the only thing I have craved this time.

So Ian has a runny nose again, and is sneezing like crazy.  So I think it is round 3 of the cold season so far.  He is taking some acetaminophen to clear up his nose and the sneeze but it is not working quite yet.  I know he will be OK in time.

Well just a little update on us Zimmermans.

16 weeks pregnant with #2

Well I am in my 5th month.  I am current on the actual dates of my posts thank god.
I am really starting to show now, so I will take a pic in the morning and post it.

I have thought I have felt the little one wiggle or roll over.  And fast kicks or pushing.  Only when I am laying or sitting down.  I cannot feel anything at all when I am moving or doing something.  My appitite has increased, and I have gained 2 pounds so far.  With the morning sickness in the beginning I think I might of lost some weight.  I have to urinate real often now days.  My breasts are still tender.

Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces.

12 weeks pregnant with #2 and Ultrasound

This post should of been on November 4, 2011.

Well I have made it through my first trimester! Whew!!!!
So I had an ultrasound today!  I got to see our little Pnut on a GIANT flat screen tv. How cool is that. The lady was extremely nice, and informative. She took all her measurements and then started to snap some pictures for us.
Our little one was playing with its mouth with its fist.  And you can see its nose, lips, and all five toes!

That is right.  She was about 70% sure its a boy.  And unless that is part of its leg, that is the little winky! lol
And our little one's heartbeat. Was so loud in the room.  Beating away at 155 BPM.  We already cannot wait to meet our precious baby!

As far as symptoms go.  I have no morning sickness anymore.  My breasts are simply growing and are tender only around the nipples.  My tummy is bigger.  But not significantly.

8 weeks pregnant with #2

So there is our little Pnut.  Growing at a little bit bigger than I am along.  But my Ob says that is great.  I could see the little one wiggling all over and twitching its limbs.  I could also see the wee little heartbeat.  Which gave me a GIANT load off my shoulders.  We are scheduled to go to another Ultrasound at my 12 week mark.  It is a genetic ultrasound.  We might be able to see the gender at this time.

As far as symptoms are the Exact same as the last few weeks.  Although the morning sickness is starting to go away.

5 Weeks Pregnant with #2

At 5 weeks the date of this post should of been on September 10, 2011.

At this point, he's about the size of a sesame seed, and he looks more like a tiny tadpole than a human. The neural tube — from which your baby's brain, spinal cord, nerves, and backbone will sprout — is starting to develop in the top layer, called the ectoderm. This layer will also give rise to his skin, hair, nails, mammary and sweat glands, and tooth enamel.

As far as symptoms right now:
  • Morning sickness is CRAZY this time
  • My Breasts are extremely tender and swollen
  • I can smell just about anything in the house
So everything is the same since last week.
Picture of fetal development at 5 weeks

Ian getting glasses

He was very excited about picking glasses out.  Although it was a little tricky trying to figure out which ones would work best for a very active young man.  He does not have a very strong prescription.  It is for a minor correction.  But he looks so much like his daddy here!

Ian Dancing to a Cartoon

I cannot remember the Cartoon, but Ian was having a good time so I decided to catch it. This had something to do with crocodiles, that is why he is growling.  This is when we first moved in and our furniture was not here yet.

Pregnant with baby #2

The actual date of this post should of been on September 3, 2011.

Well it is official.  I am PREGNANT with baby #2.  We were in no way trying at this time, but birth control failed us. lol. This is in no way a bad thing mind you.  We were trying for years after the birth of our son Ian.  We got pregnant shortly after Ian turned one, but we miscarried at 7 weeks.  I am happy to say that we have healed from that loss.  We know GOD has a plan for everyone.  And there is a reason for everything.

So we are now blessed with another little one.  I am 4 weeks along and took two at home prego tests.
So we are now awaiting our first Ultrasound appointment to confirm these tests.  It is schedueld to be at my 8th week.

As far as symptoms right now:
  • Morning sickness is CRAZY this time
  • My Breasts are extremely tender and swollen
  • I can smell just about anything in the house
  • Also missed period lol
So nothing out of the ordinary.  I will update you all very soon!

Peeping Tom

Sorry this has taken me a couple days to post.
The other night, my sister in law was laying on the couch, watching her tummy move cause she is pregnant.  She pulled her shirt up to see her bare belly. Well my husband and I had literally just got in the shower, and my mother in law came banging on the door.  She was screaming "A man was just looking in at your sister!"  We ran out and my Husband was out the door so fast.  The man was standing on our porch looking in at her, smoking a sigerete. My other sister in law came walking up the stairs and saw him looking in. And my sister in law who is pregnant could smell the sigerete ten minuets before they saw him.  SO who knows how long he was there.  All the neighbors were out running trying to catch him.  We called the cops.  My mother in law looked out her window to see if she could see him, and he was hiding behind our back fence.  She yelled for everyone to go look over there, and before my hubby could get to the back he took off running. The cops said that they had another call about this happening erlier this week.  They did a sweep of the area and could not find him.  After the cops had left, he came BACK!
This time he ran across our porch.  We all ran out and we could not find him.
Tell me how sick are you to want to get off and smoke while watching a pregnant women.
THE SCARIEST NIGHT EVER!

Allergies at the Lake

So the family has been coughing and sneezing, and throwing up lately. And my sister in law took her kids to the E.R. today to see what was wrong with them.
They found out that us living here in all the pine trees is giving everyone Allergies.  The Poline is so bad here its not funny.
We are constantly wiping yellow dust off of everything close to a window or outside.
All the kids have to take Allergy medicine.  I took this pic of Ian after he was given his meds. He is laying with out puppy Tinkerbell.  He looks like crap but he says he feels alright.
So we have to bare with this nasty crap until winter and then hopefully we will not have it as bad as next year.

Saying Goodbye

So my Husband has had a dog since she was a puppy. Her name was Bo.  She was going on 11 years old this year.  Any ways after moving from Reno to Tahoe, we discovered this small growth on her tummy.  We thought it was a spider bite, but when it started to grow larger we decided she needed to see a vet.
So once we took her to the vet, they did a biopsy on it and found nothing but infection.  We were calmed a little by this because most infections can be cured with antibiotics.  They also gave her a pain killer because she was wining a lot.
She was on these meds for months, and this thing just kept growing.  It got to the point that it looked like a soft ball.  Now Bo was constantly trying to bite it.  She broke it open one day and was bleeding all over our house.  We called the vet and she said to just keep her on the meds it would take some time to get rid of this because of how intense the infection was.
Well about a week ago she went completely blind. And it was almost over night this happened.  She was given a cone to ware to keep from the biting but that never seemed to stop her.  She would eat and drink like crazy but kept loosing weight fast.  She would drink until you made her stop.
So we called a new vet today to get her in, and she told us as soon as she saw her that is was Caner.  And it was very bad.  Since it was my Husbands dog, he made the decision to put her down because she has been suffering in pain for the past 5 months, thank to the vet who wouldn't take the time to find out the truth.  This place was money hungry.
So this morning we took Bo in.  We weren't there very long.  They took us into a small room, which had blankets on the floor to lay her on.  They hooked an IV up to her and gave her a sedative to make her sleepy, and to lay down.  Shortly after they gave her the meds that was going to take all the pain away.
My Husband and I were crying.  Although he was really bad.  He had to say goodbye to the one best friend that was always there no matter what.  I had to say goodbye to a friend I have known for the past 6 years.  And it wasn't easy.
Bo is in heaven know with our other 3 dogs of the family. Jumbo, Shampain, Piper.  Family.
So this has been an extremely long and painful day.
We miss you baby girl!
