Blogging from my iPhone 5 now

So my hubby got us the new iPhone 5. It is really nice.

I thought I would start blogging again because the boys are getting so much bigger.

Logan is almost 6 months old, Ian is almost 6 years old. Ian's been in school for over a month and he loves it. So far so good.

Logan is talking a lot and standing with help, rolled over a couple times. He started eating solids at 4 months and he ant go without it....

My INSANITY workout journey Day 2

So today I was a little dissapointed in myself because I wanted to push.  I know this program is not going to be a walk in the park.  Why else would it be called INSANITY!  Right!

Well I had to stop several times during the WARM UP....THE FREAKING WARM UP!
Today really showed my just how out of shape I really am.  If I was in any kind of good shape the warm up would be do able.

I sometimes have to really take deep breaths because my throat gets this pain in the right side.  Like I ran a mile or something.  I have to drink a super lot of water.  Which I know is good, but I do not want to make myself sick.  So far so good.

I am sweating my butt off and I love it. I felt muscles I never used before when I woke up, and sat up to get out of bed.  TO me that tells me that I am doing something right....Right?

I am going to be doing short videos after every workout to let you all know my honest opinion on the program.  And so far I am giving it an A+.

My INSANITY workout Journey Day 1

So I was doing some research and I came across the INSANITY workout.  I also saw it on TV.

Changes are comin

Sorry for it being so long in between posts.  There has been a lot of things going on right now so I haven't had any time to post new blogs.  But now I am sitting on our couch while my hubby plays his xbox and Logan is sleeping and Ian to.  The day has been so long because I was cleaning like crazy so when my Grandma and Grandpa get here tomorrow morning for seeing Ian the first time for 2 years!  I hope that they have a wonderful time here.

We have been doing great with each other and the boys have been smiling and playing with each other.  This is the best thing that brothers can do.  It puts a smile on my face to when they do it.  Its so cute.  Ian cannot wait for Logan to be big enough to play with him, besides laying on his back and kicking his face with his little wii feet.  I wish I caught a picture of it but when I opened my phone Logan was ready to eat again.  But please me happy at all the other pictures I have of these boys.  I can tell you all that having nothing but boys is the most AMAZING thing I have in my life.

I know that Jesse and I do not have a lot of time alone, except when the boys are asleep at the same time...  But please know that we are doing really great.  We love all the time we have with our little family and wouldn't change things at all.  We go fishing and shopping all the time together.  Also a lot of rides down he mountain to town to just walk around and window shop.  This is what we really love to do when we get bored of sitting at home.

I have been trying to get Logan's 3 month update up, but I have been so stressed and so busy I am still working on it.  I really have not had time to post on here as well.  But I am trying to make time is saving small posts here and there about what is going on in our lives.

So we have purchased a Brand new 73" lcd tv.  Also an entertainment center for it.  It is really nice to be able to start to furnish our house with new furniture.  In addition to our Tv we have gotten a couch.  This is not new but it is in very good condition.

We finally got Ian in his own room.  And it is working out greatly for him and us as well.  We loved sharing a room with him but he is 5 and with having the baby in there as well it was a little crowded.  Also daddy and I needed some privacy.  Ian is at the age that he needs to be independent and learn that as well.  He has his own tv and entertainment center for it and his games.  We put his toys in there as well so now he is all set.

We still need to paint the house and replace the carpet but for now it is more homey than it has been.

I am currently working on my crochet projects.  I am making earrings and purses.  I am trying to get enough together to go to a craft fair.  This is my goal...

Jesse is enjoying the tv and the game play he is getting on it.  We are definitively enjoying family movie night and watching our shows on it as well.

The weather here has been so nice, but I have not once gotten down to the lake to swim.  We have been going fishing a lot and I have not had the time to go.  I am trying to plan something really soon.

Well I hope that things keep looking up for us!

Logan is getting so big!

Logan has been looking at his toys on his bouncer the past few days.  When he was born he didn't really fit in it right so it was annoying to put him in it.  Now he fits it really good.  He reaches kinda for the toys on it.

I feel like the time is flying by.  I still feel like he was born this morning.  I know the first year fly's by!

Seeing Logan reminds Jesse and I about Ian when he was a baby.  It is way AMAZING to see his little brother growing up just like him.

Logan's First Day Of Life!

He was so tiny, but such a bundle of joy.

A day in our life

So on Sunday June 10th my hubby and I spent the whole day shopping.  Well we were looking at new carpet and paint.  We found the right carpet we want, and the colors we would like to do.

The carpet is similar to what we have know, and the paint is white for the main part of the house, and tan in our room , and Ian's room will be light blue.

We are in the process of Decorating our home.  We are at the point where we want to make things look the way we want them instead of just dealing with what we get.  I know that we are only renting in this house but  we do not plan on moving anytime soon.  So we want to make it more homey....

Here is a list of everything we have gotten so far
Knifes
Cutting board
Silverware
Kitchen Tools
Pots
Pans
Cookie sheet
Cake pan

So you can see we are starting in the Kitchen.

We found this 60 inch plasma tv for the living room.  We are not going to get it for a few weeks, because we need to save up.

Things for us right now are going really well.

The thing I would like right know is a new Camera.

Labor & Delivery with our Second son

So I am sitting in front of my bedroom window and it is poor-ring rain.  The lake weather has not been as good as it was last year.  We have only been able to go outside and play for 2 days now this past moth.  Now on the weather channel it says its suppose to snow tomorrow?  Where is SUMMER?

Logan was born on April 18, 2012.  As some of you already knew.  This labor was the most amazing things ever.  I was really excited and new that I was in REALLY labor on April 17th.  The pain was not going away and just kept getting worse.  I was having contractions all day about a 5 min apart.  All day I was at my Hubby's office in town so that I could go see me doctor.  It was just a check up but turned out to be in labor.  They told me I was 4cm and 80% effaced, but told me to go back home until my water broke or the contractions got to hard to handle.  By the time I left the Doctor I knew it was time to go over to the Labor and Delivery.  When I got there they checked me and I was 4 1/2 or 5 cm, and so they made me walk for 45 min.  This was the most amazing thing ever.  I knew I was going to have our baby boy that night and was so happy.  If I had stopped walking it made the contractions hurt more, but while walking it made them feel a little better.  I was holding my belly the whole time.  I was so afraid that my water would break before my Hubby could get there.
Once they put me back in the bed the pain got really bad!  And my hubby was there with me now.  He was holding my hand and kept telling me I was doing good, and he kept reminding me to breath....
He was my rock!

They checked me and now I was a 6cm so I was told I was in LABOR!

So everything started to go by real fast now.  I was only 36 weeks 4 days, so all the fear was there.  The excitement for having another little one was there.

My contractions were lasting up to 2 min, and every min apart.  So they decided I could have my epidural.  Once I got it I felt a lot better.  Although my left side did not go numb.  I had to have another shot in it.  Once it was all numb, I was relaxed and resting.  My husband was going to get something to eat because we were told it would be a while before I could push.  He was gone 5 in when they checked me, because all of a sudden I got really nauseated.  When she moved my legs over, she said, Don't sneeze.   He's right there.

So I called my husband who's phone had no signal! Great!!!

My Doctor Amanda, came in and said she would grab him.  She had just passed him.  So by the time he got into the room I was getting ready for a practice push.  So count that as push #1.  I pushed a second time.  Then before the 3rd push he was asked if he would like to touch his head.  Before he could put his glove on all the way Logan was born at 12:14 am.  He was put on my chest, and was SCREAMING.  That was music to both of our ears.  Daddy got to cut his cord!!! YAY...

Logan Russel Zimmerman was 5.9 pounds, and 17 1/2 inches long
Full head of light blonde hair.

We were so Happy!

36 weeks pregnant contractions..

I've been having painful contractions for about 4 days now. Sometimes 2-3 min apart, and no cervical change...  This is really frustrating because they hurt to where they take my breath away, but they won't keep me, or induce me yet.

I'm really getting mad because I was so high risk for so long and now they say they won't stop it, but they won't give me anything for the pain...

What should I do?

Snow in April

Playing outside in April.

Where the weather should be so nice, and getting warmer, but.....

This whole month its been snowing...

Its warm one day and then the next its windy and just plain nasty out...It just doesn't want to make up its mind...

Yesterday and today I did take Ian out.  Although yesterday was pretty warm, today was windy and ucky.....
So I think we are stuck in the house again with another snow storm on its way.  I am so ready for Winter to be gone, and at least have Spring here.  Summer would even be great.  Its feels like it is taking forever....

Review on Women's Prenatal

So I have been taking the Women's Prenatal One a Day, through out my Pregnancy.
I wanted to just let you all know what I think about the product.  These are my own personal thoughts.

Likes

  1. A great source of Iron
  2. You get both a Multivitamin and a DHA/EPA liquid Gel

Dislikes

  1. The pills are huge!
  2. The Multivitamin leaves a nasty after taste if you let it sit on your tongue for to long.

Other then that I think they are great.  You get both of them in one package and it makes it more convienient. Also The amount of Iron is outstanding.  I have had low Iron in both my pregnancies and I love that this has triple the amount I had to take with my first son.

I would Recommend this product to any women Expecting!

Ian's Easter Egg Hunt #5 At home

So here is Ians Easter Egg Hunt #5 at home.  Sorry for all the noise, and the messy house.  There is a lot I can talk about it, but I am going to leave it alone right now..lol

Prenatal Vitamins..Doubling up?

So I have not been good at taking my Vitamins at all.... So I decided to try and double up.  Twice a day.  I do not think it will hurt, but I just wanted to get someones opinion on it.  My Iron has been low and so has my potassium.  I am trying to get as much water in as I can as well.

Things have been really stressful in the House with in laws, and I have not been taking care of myself like I should.  Especially being pregnant.  So I am a little over 35 weeks, and I am trying to make up for lost time.

I do know that on the Ultrasounds he looks great, but I feel as though I have been hurting him by not drinking as much as I should or taking the Vitamins.  I know that I could be eating more to.....

Please any advice I would really love!!!

Loving life as a Mommy & Wife

The best thing in life is being a Mother and Wife... How can I put into words what I feel.  Really I cannot.  I have tried.  People have asked me what its like and I have no idea how to describe the feeling..  All I know is there is no other feeling like it...

My husband and my two sons are the most important people in my life.  They are the reason for me to live...
They give me a purpose in life...They are the reason I wake up, smile, have a heartbeat.  They are my reason to fight for them no matter what.  I would loose my life for them if I had to.  I do not want anything to come in between the safety of my family...

I could go on and on.......

It's Complicated

Just when you think things cannot get any worse....

What do you do when you have reached your boiling point with someone?
You know, you keep your comments to yourself where they cannot hear them right...Yet all along they have no respect for you and run their mouth whenever and wherever...

Pretty soon you get to that point where you just want to snap...You cannot take another comment.. You feel like its high school all over again. I feel like I am a freshman on my first day....

Some people you just will not and cannot get along with.  No matter how hard you try its not happening.
Then you are put in a situation where you are kinda forced to live with them.  Its ether you leave or just deal with it.  Well I am in the situation where I just have to deal.

But I have got to be honest...This is ridiculous...

If I went into detail on everything that is going on I would be kicked off of blogger... So I am going to leave it at this...

Thanks for letting me vent.....

Pregnancy week 34 update

So this week has pretty much been the same as the past couple weeks.  I have the rest of the week on bed rest and then I am able to do more things.  Which I cannot wait.  I am going insane just laying in bed all the time.  I am in the nesting mood and can't do anything yet.

I did however get my bag and Logan's bag packed for the Hospital.  So I was able to get something done Hehehehe...

This coming weekend I plan on getting our room ready for the little squirt.  We have all the big things we need, and most of the small to.  We still need some more bottles and a breast pump for me.  Those are the majors right now.

So here are a few pictures I took this morning and a video update with lots more info as well.

 He has dropped.....

Custom Crochet Name Signs

So last night I wanted to make something to hang over my soon to be newborn sons bed.  I came up with this...

I used Sugar N Cream cotton.  And I cross stitched his name into the middle.
What do you all think?
Should I sell my pattern?
Should I sell custom signs?

Please let me know, your opinions mean a lot to me.....

What's on Christina's Mind today?

free glitter text and family website at FamilyLobby.com

So last night I had a dream that little Logan was born.  It kinda scared me because I am still early.. I know that some people say that a certain percent of your dreams come true.. Let's hope this one comes true few more weeks down the road...

We got confirmation that we have everything we need for Logan.  Except the small things... I have a list going.. Care to see?

Diaper Bag
Wipes
Diaper Rash Cream
Bottles
Binkies
Baby Wash
Baby Lotion
Thermometer Kit
Batteries
Vaseline
Alcohol
Going home outfit
Receiving Blankets Hubnow lol..I have got my pregnancy brain right now, and it took me like 20 min to come up with that list.....That is bad lol.....

free glitter text and family website at FamilyLobby.com

Stress is something that I have been told to stay away from with the preterm labor in all....
Well it is really hard right now. I have mentioned before that my in laws were staying with us.  It seems to just be getting worse.  We cannot get a long what so ever.  We have different views on life, how to raise our kids, and the list goes on.  If something is done that someone else doesn't like then a fight breaks out and its a huge screaming fest.  I have asked and told my Hubby that I just cannot do it anymore.....This is to much... So I am waiting for them to find a place.  Things will get better for him and I.  And our growing family.  Plus the room we will get back will help tons.  Family is family, and the love is there, but some people you just cannot live with...

free glitter text and family website at FamilyLobby.com
We cannot be any more blessed to have a growing family.  We will have to very strong boys soon.  I cannot express how much love I have for my little family.  I have every thing in this world I could ask for.  Some people are not at fortunate.  That is why I know we are blessed..  These boys are my life and I wouldn't change anything!!

Disney Travel set & Play Yard Bassinet

So I got a big SURPRISE today.  My Aunt Tina messaged me to see how I was, and then asked to just stop by to say Hi.  I said of course.  Her and my Aunt Patti came over and gave us two really needed things for Logan to come home.

They are the most AMAZING AUNTIES ever!  I cannot explain how thankful I am for them.  This is really unexpected but GREATLY appreciated....

We are going to set them up shortly....Just gotta make room in our room...lol..

33 Weeks Pregnant

So I am officially 33 weeks pregnant.  I had a check up yesterday at my ob, and I was told that Logan can be here any day.  I am 2 cm and still 20% effaced.  I keep having these contractions everyday.  Sometimes they last for a while sometimes they go away after one.

So we are starting to look into getting the rest of what we need for our sweet baby boy.  We still need all the essentials, and furniture....  I have plenty of newborn and size 1 diapers, lol but no wipes.... And there is a list we need to get...

Oh Sorry I found a pic I snapped last week before I went into the Hospital....

This book was about Bugs....

Stopping my PreTerm Labor

So I have been MIA.  But I swear I have a good reason why.  Little Mr, Logan is trying to come early.  Last Wednesday I started to get contractions, or what I thought was Braxton hicks at 2:30pm.  They were coming every 5 minutes or less all day.  I didn't have any pain with them so I didn't think anything of it.  My Husband and I thought they would just go away, like any other night....

This time was different I guess....So I called my Doctor and was told I needed to be seen right away because they had been going on for so long.  So of course we live on a Mountain top, and we just happen to be getting a huge Snow storm.  So getting to the Hospital that I should of went to was out of the question.  We had to drive 45 minutes to another Hospital.  It was the closest one to us that had a Labor and Delivery.  Only this place didn't have a NICU.  That we didn't find out until we were already there...

Anyway they hooked me up and sure enough the contractions were coming every 5 min or less...So they decided to check my cervix.  It was closed but 20% effaced.  Then they watched me for just a bit and decided to give me a shot to stop the contractions.  Now this shot only lasts for about a half hour after they give it to you they said.  So they watched me for an hour after.

About 30 min after the shot I started to contract yet again.  They were going to give me another shot but then they just decided to stop.  So I stayed on the Machines for a little while longer and they had stopped.

They tested me for my FFN.  To see if I would test positive to going in to Preterm Labor in the next two weeks.  Well that lovely test came back positive....  So needless to say My husband and I were sitting there freaking out thinking that, that night we were going to have our second son.  Knowing that it is way to early we were terrified.

They sent me home and made me see my regular doctor the next day.

When I went in to see him, he had told me that it would be best for me to get steroid shots to help mature Logan's lungs the best way we can, just in case I am to deliver in the next two weeks.

He made an appointment for me an hour later to go to Labor and Delivery and get the first shot.

When I got there, I was hooked up to the monitors yet again.  They started me on some IV fluids just to be safe, and then I got the first shot.  And this thing sucked big time because it has to go in your hip and burns like crazy.....

Well they were watching the monitors and I was contracting yet again.  So they decided to give me the shot to stop them again.  So I got the shot and the contractions stopped...

I left the Hospital about 6 hours after getting there for one shot...Ughhhhh

So I was put on bed rest for the next two weeks, so that we had the best chance of keeping this little guy in as  long as we can.  Being that it would be safer to deliver in two weeks rather then now..

I had my next scheduled appointment the following day, back at L&D.  I went through the whole hook up, got the shot, and hello contractions.  I got another shot in my arm to stop them, and this time is didn't help at all. This time they were getting a little more stronger.  So they decided to admit me.....

They decided to start me on Magnesium.  Which meant I had to have a cathidor and that I was going to feel like crap.  That was an under statement.  I was on fire everywhere. The cathidor hut like hell.  And the room felt like it was spinning.  Not to mention that my Husband could not get down the mountain to be there with me so for the first 24 hours I was totally alone....
Now even though I was on the Mag, I was still contracting...  They were spreading farther apart but were still as strong.  They had me on the Mag for 24 hours and took my blood all night.  They also found out that my Potassium was dangerously low.  So I was given 3 bags of that by IV as well as Mag, and Penicillin.  I was also given two more shots in my arms to stop the contractions over night.

Needless to say my Uterus was really trying to get him out.  Logan was doing great and looked great on the monitors.

Every time they took my Blood pressure it would be low.  So that made me even more miserable because that meant I could only have certain meds.

My Husband finally made it down the next day to stay with me because I was not able to go home yet.  By the time he got there I was off the Mag.  He saw how strong the contractions were and how serious this stay had gotten.  The doctors were not sure if they were even going to let me go home the next day because all night I had contractions every 3 min.  But I was not feeling them.

Well we talked to the Doctor the next day and he checked my cervix again, and now I was 1 cm.  Which could be normal but with the positive FFN was not really ok.  But he said he saw no reason for me not to be able to go home. Since we got the steroid shots, and I had the Mag that was really all they could do for me...

So he said go home, strict bed rest.  NO MEDS....  So now if I start getting the contractions and they don't stop and they get stronger I have to go back.  But that this time they might not stop it.  Because I have gotten everything I could of to stop it.....

And now today is 3/19/12 and I think I am starting to loose my mucus plug...  I am trying so hard to keep this baby in..... Lord please keep Logan in for another 2 weeks at least.....

Me waiting on my Steroid shot....

The monitors in the first room...

The Hubby the first attempt at stopping Labor.....
He was really tired..Long drive in bad weather and work at 6 the next morning..

Me after 9 hours on Magnesium....

Ian at the Library

So yesterday Ian and I spent most of the day with daddy at work.  Then we decided we were going to go to the Library.  We both got cards, and Ian got a nice little case for when he starts school.
While I was looking at books for Ian to bring home and read he made a little friend in the play area.
They played with blocks, and these weird round things.  It was a little girl around is age but younger.  Her father watched on like I did.

She was adorable!

Ian and her played for a good hour or so until she had to leave.  I snapped a shot from a distance of them playing.

I hope you enjoy!

He is such a good helper as well.  He asked the little girl if he could help her put the toys away, and then said Thank you for playing with me....

Ian you are such a sweetheart!

Crochet Granny Blanket

So I finally finished Ian's granny blanket.  I have been working on this for about 4 weeks now.  Off and on.
I want to add more in length, but need to get more yarn.  This is what it looks like.

He is sleeping with it tonight and until it is COMPLETELY finished.  But he loves it...

He told me I was the Best Mama ever for making it for him.  And that he loves it because I made it for him.
These are his favorite type of blanket.  He cant sleep without a Crochet blanket on top.  And some time in the middle of the night he pushes everything off and we find him covered up with just the crochet one.

He has been that way since birth.  This is why when Logan is born he will only have receiving blankets.
I hope you all like it.

Braxton Hicks at 31 weeks and Pregnancy blog

I know it is very common for preggos to have these darn Braxton Hicks right now.  But seriously they have been coming more and more for the past few days.  I don't have any pain just the tight feeling.  Sometimes it feels like I am going to pop its so tight.  And not to mention he gets all squinched up in the middle of my belly, and I am scared that it is hurting him.  I know its all natural and it's not bothering him, but I am a worry bee.

I see my Doctor every two weeks still, so I don't have another check up for a week.  Time is flying by, but two weeks seems like it takes forever to go now.  I know once it is time for me to go every week, things are going to speed up.

I am so anxious about the labor and delivery.  I cannot wait to have him in my arms, and meeting his daddy, and big brother.  I hope that everything goes well.  We are still worried because of what happened to Ian. I posted about this before, so if you are concerned or want to know please do.

I want everything to be in it's place.  So needless to say I am NESTING like CRAZY.  Last night I re-arranged Ian's tv area.  He has a 64 game consul and I just moved things around.  I clean our room every night before we go to bed.  Laundry is done A.s.A.p.  And I can't seem to  stop cleaning the main part of the house ether.  Though that is a LOT harder.

Caught my Husband Sleeping lol

So I took this a while ago, but found it!  I caught him while he was sleeping.  See he use to get pictures of me all the time while I was sleeping, so I took one of him.  I am not sure if he even knows that I took it. Oh well...

Ian's 5th Bday!

This was taken on December 30, 2011

Sorry for it taking so long to post a Birthday pic of our Handsome little man.  Things have been really crazy here.  He is 5 now! WOW. I Cannot believe that he is going to start school this year.  Ian is really growing up. He has a very independent personality, and is a very strong little man.  I know he is going to enjoy school, and having the chance to make friends.
Living on a Mountain there are not a whole lot of kids around, so I know once he starts school it will be more fun around here for him.  And with his Brother due in May, he is never going to be lonely.

Ian has changed my life for the better.  When I was younger I never wanted to have kids.  Or more so never thought I would find the right person to have them with. Things changed Winter of 2005, when I met Ian's Father, my Husband.

Ian is so loved by us and his whole family.  He makes everyone smile.  He is always making sure everyone is okay.  He is going to be so bright!
I cannot wait to see who he becomes in life, but I know it's going to be GREAT!

Single Crochet Earflap Hat with Flower

I cannot remember where I got the pattern for this.  It is a basic Single Crochet beanie, and I added earflaps on it.  I also made the flower from a pattern that I remember how to work, but not the link sorry.

I wanted to show you all some pictures of what I can do.

I was really proud of how this turned out.  I gave it to my Mother in law otherwise I would have more or better photos for you.  I might even be able to rememebr the patterns. HEEHE.
I will try and find one and post it here.

I hope you like it!
